Zonta Charity Golf Tournaments 2025: A Successful Day for a Good Cause

On August 31st, the Zonta Club Münster hosted its annual charity golf tournament at the Münster-Tinnen Golf Club. With over 100 participants and perfect late-summer weather, the event once again proved to be a beloved tradition. Through entry fees, donations and sponsorships, the club raised an impressive €13,000 to support projects that empower women and girls.
The funds will help local initiatives such as the “Dance, Theatre, Voice” project for elementary school girls in Münster-Coerde, as well as international Zonta advocacy programs. The club also highlighted its ongoing commitment to the global campaign “Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women.”
The tournament, together with Zonta’s annual benefit concert in Advent, remains an important part of the club’s fundraising efforts — combining sport, community and purpose.
Zonta Club Siegen Area | Area 05/29
The 11th edition of the now traditional Zonta charity golf tournament on 31st August was once again a great success. Although the sky above the Siegen-Olpe Golf Club was rather grey on the last Sunday in August, this did not dampen the good mood on the course or at the subsequent award ceremony in the clubhouse.
Almost 100 sponsors | Thanks in part to the numerous sponsors, the fantastic sum of over €20,000 was raised. In line with the global “Zonta says NO” campaign, the Zonta Club Siegen Area is supporting the following causes with the proceeds, as it has done with its previous charity tournaments:
- Siegen Women’s Shelter
- Olpe Women’s Advice Centre and
- the production and distribution of “heart pillows” to women suffering from breast cancer.
