Zonta International and UNICEF invite you to a virtual session on Laaha: A Safe Space for Women and Girls — the first digital platform by and for women and girls in crisis settings to address gender-based violence and reproductive health.
Zontians will hear first-hand from UNICEF program staff on the impact of their support and the lifesaving resources that are now available to women and girls – many who reside in conflict settings. You will get to travel to various countries and see how the platform is being integrated in day-to-day life.
This 60-min virtual session was co-hosted by
- Caroline Masboungi, lead of UNICEF’s Gender Based Violence innovations,
- Salla Tuominen, President of Zonta International and
- Fernanda Gallo-Freschi, President-elect of Zonta International.
